Sustainability Strategy

The Company’s Strategic Plan #RECONECTA is the reference framework for the definition of the Responsible Business Plan of Telefónica Hispam and, in turn, of Telefónica Movistar Colombia. Telefónica Hispam’s plan has defined three strategic pillars: Promote inclusive connectivity, help build a digital and greener future and lead by example, pillars that have been assumed as a reference for the definition of the Responsible Business Plan in Colombia.

Starting from the analysis of impacts, risks and opportunities, and recognizing the importance of economic, environmental, social and governance management, in 2016 Movistar Colombia established its first Responsible Business Plan with a look at three years (2016-2018). At the end of its validity, in 2019 the second Responsible Business Plan (2019-2021) was launched and subsequently the Responsible Business Plan 2022-2024. This Plan includes the Company’s specific sustainability objectives, is aligned with the 2030 Agenda, the Principles of the Global Compact, the Reconecta Plan, the Hispam Responsible Business Plan and the Colombian context, consolidating the results of the relationship with stakeholders expressed in materiality:
