Gender equity and diversity

Since 2013, Telefónica Movistar has been working on getting the Labor Equity Seal “Equipares”, given by the Colombian’s Ministry of Labour: Ministerio del Trabajo . The main goal is to remove any kind of discrimination and gender gaps.

In order to achieve this goal, the first step was creating our own Equity Policy to start walking towards the processes that will lead us to become in an exemplary company in the labor equity sector in Colombia.

Furthermore, we have developed a set of actions that have let us to guarantee a more equal and diverse job atmosphere. Next, we introduce the most representative activities of the 2015 and the action plan we are doing through the 2016.
