Digital Technology Adoption Study
Telefónica Movistar made an agreement with the Cámara de Comercio of Barranquilla (CCB) to help the companies in thier way to the digital transformation implementing the first Digital Technology Adoption Study, which analyzed how they apply digital technology in their business processes and relationship with customers.

At a time when change and innovation are a constant, the digitization effects have been transferred to companies and have imposed the challenge of moving towards of digital tools within the business, as well as the inclusion of Information and communication technologies in their business and organizational models. Companies must evolve their business and ecosystem to the new social, business and technological reality, characterized by connected life.

This Study allowed to make an organizations diagnosis regarding their digitalization level through the Digital Maturity Index (DMI), that included dimensions as ICT Equipment, Digital Processes and Services, Information Security, Software and Presence on the Internet. The measurement revealed the weaknesses, strengths and challenges that the companies of the city face to the digitalization of their business.
